TV Actor Mohan Bhandari Passes Away

Veteran television actor Mohan Bhandari, one of the most popular names on the small screen in the 80s', died yesterday evening.
He was suffering from brain tumour for the past couple of years.
Part of hit serials like Khaandaan, the senior actor was a household name in the Doordarshan era. He had also featured in shows such as Saat Phere, Karz,Parampara, Jeevan Mrityu, Pathjhad, Gumraah and Mile Sur Mera Tumhara.
Mohan made his presence felt in Bollywood as well, with movies including Pratighaat (1987), Bawandar (2000), Paheli and Mangal Pandey: The Rising (2005).
Mohan's son Dhruv is also a telly actor, popular for roles in shows like Rakth Sambandh and Tere Sheher Mein.
"Dad is my greatest inspiration in life. He has always worked hard to give us everything. I have seen him go through the ups and downs of life without complaints. From being absolutely healthy, he now lives a life of restrictions because of brain tumour. The last two years have been very difficult for my entire family and the most for him," Dhruv had said in a recent newspaper interview.
